Description
We are seeking to find a loving forever home for two 8-year-old Siberian Huskies, Tor (male) and Kira (female).
They have had a very difficult past. After their original owner could no longer care for them, they were adopted by a family in Jerez who intended to breed them. When they discovered both had been sterilised, they abandoned them. Tor survived on the streets for around a month, while Kira was alone for nearly three months before being rescued. We took them in and have cared for them lovingly for almost four years.
Unfortunately, we have had to leave the family home where they had a large garden. A friend is temporarily housing us, but she is selling her home in October, meaning we must leave in September. We will then be moving into a small flat, where we sadly cannot keep them. We are also expecting our first baby in September and plan to return to South Africa next year.
Both dogs are blind due to corneal dystrophy, but they have adapted incredibly well. They are gentle, affectionate and loving, and we desperately want to find them a safe, stable and permanent home together.
