Training Infrastructure

Training and behaviour modification is an important part of Aims service. Aims has an in house trainer working on many aspects of day to day canine activity from helping with adoption placements to assisting owners and rescue dogs with their new routine and settling in period. Tess Bjork is certified from the RDE in Gothenburg, Sweden and will be giving general obedience classes, socialisation assistance and providing help to families with dogs needing help with behaviour issues. Keep an eye out for our regular “Tips from Tess” with recommendations galore for you to enjoy with your furry family members.

AIMS continues to consult with Joy and Stefan, formerly of the JSM Dog Centre in Monda, for guidance on complex canine behavioural cases. Having worked professionally with dogs since 1979, they bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience and are highly respected throughout the Costa del Sol.

At AIMS, we have always taken an open-minded, individualised approach to dog training and behaviour. Every dog is carefully assessed, and recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis, recognising that no single approach is right for every dog.

We also welcome collaboration with trusted, experienced dog trainers across the municipality. By working together and drawing on a range of expertise, we can provide the most appropriate support for each dog and help ensure successful, lasting matches with their adoptive families.
