River is a stunning male Boxer mix who is finally getting a taste of peace and freedom after years in a crowded shelter.
Abandoned for reasons unknown, River’s early life was filled with uncertainty and heartbreak. Like so many others, he spent his days in a concrete kennel with no natural light, surrounded by the heartbreaking sounds of dogs just like him — waiting, hoping.
Now, River is beginning a new chapter. He’s traded those four walls for open skies and a large play park that overlooks acres of countryside. He’s slowly decompressing, making new friends, and discovering what it means to feel safe.
