Palermo – A young Dog Starting Over
Palermo is about two years old and arrived at the shelter in April 2026 after being found alone on the street. It's very likely he was abandoned and left to fend for himself.
When he arrived, he was covered in ticks and had clearly been neglected for some time. It's difficult to know exactly how long he was alone, but he arrived in a state of neglect and in need of care.
He's still very new to the shelter, and we're just getting to know him. Everything is new to him right now, and he's slowly adjusting to his new surroundings.
Palermo is still very young and has his whole life ahead of him. He didn't have the start he deserved, but we hope his future will be very different—one filled with stability, love, and a real home.
