Meet Obby — the Grandad and the Boss of the Sanctuary.
Handsome Obby is a much-loved member of our Sanctuary family. After spending over seven long years in a shelter, this senior gentleman was finally spotted by a wonderfully kind soul who couldn’t bear the thought of him spending his remaining years behind bars, with only the occasional outing for company.
Since arriving at the Sanctuary, Obby has been loving his fresh air, peace, and the gentle rhythm of sanctuary life — along with a wonderful companion to share his days with. Though he faces a few health challenges and is very much a senior citizen now, Obby’s spirit is strong, and his heart is pure gold. He’s the grandad, the boss, and the most lovable old gentleman you could ever meet.
