Maya arrived at Los Barrios pound in November 2025 and was about 7.5 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous Bodeguero that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.

Maya arrived at the Pound in November at around seven and a half years of age. She is a beautiful, petite girl weighing only about eight kilos – a truly lovely, manageable size. Maya has been integrated well with other dogs and shows a friendly, sweet nature toward both dogs and people.
With the colder, humid winter nights, Maya is finding life at the Pound increasingly difficult. There is no indoor space available, only the outdoor kennels, and the smaller dogs are struggling the most. Despite this, Maya keeps her gentle character and continues to seek contact and reassurance.
This little girl deserves a warm, caring home where she can finally rest comfortably and enjoy the affection she has been waiting for. Maya is ready to bring love and gratitude to the family who opens their heart to her.
