Description
Leo arrived at his shelter in June 2025 at around 5½ years old, after being handed in by his owner. The sudden change from a home to a kennel was confusing and frightening for him at first.
With time, patience, and care, Leo has settled beautifully. He has regained his trust in people and now greets everyone with gentle affection, showing what a sweet, loving boy he truly is.
Leo gets along well with female dogs and is currently sharing his space happily with a female companion. He hasn’t yet been tested with males. He adores water and still loves splashing around whenever he gets the chance.
He walks calmly on the lead and isn’t bothered by passing dogs, people, or cars. Leo enjoys stopping in the shade, accepting treats, and soaking up cuddles — making every walk a relaxed and joyful experience.
