Eira – A Husky Mix Finding Her Way

Eira arrived at the shelter in April 2026 and is estimated to have been around three years old at the time of her arrival. She is a Husky mix.

When Eira arrived, she was extremely frightened and didn't want anyone to approach her. She kept her distance, and everything seemed very overwhelming for her.

She has some marks on her neck that could indicate her microchip was removed shortly before she was abandoned on the street. We can't know for sure, but it could be part of her story.

A few weeks later, Eira has begun to adjust little by little. She is still wary of people, but we are already seeing small signs of progress as she starts to feel a bit more confident.

Currently, Eira shares a kennel with a male dog, and they get along very well. She is playful with him, and they clearly enjoy each other's company. Having a confident and well-balanced dog by her side seems to help her, and it would be very beneficial for her to live with another dog in her future home.

Eira will need a calm and patient home with people experienced with this breed. She won't be "ready for anything" from day one, but with the right environment and understanding, we believe she will continue to thrive.

She is a beautiful dog who deserves the chance to feel safe and, finally, have a loving home.
