CHERRYCherry arrived at Los Barrios pound in September 2025 and was about 4 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.
Beautiful Cherry has just arrived at the pound. She’s about 4 years old and weighs around 14 kilos — a lovely medium-sized girl with gentle eyes and a quiet presence.
Cherry has only just arrived, and everything is still very new and overwhelming for her. The noise, the unfamiliar dogs, and all the new faces can be a lot to take in. She seems a little wary or timid around people at first, which is completely understandable after such a big change in her life. But she’s already starting to settle in and has adapted well to sharing her cage with other dogs.
It seems that Cherry may not be used to walking on a lead yet, but with a bit of patience, kindness, and gentle guidance, she will surely learn to enjoy walks and human affection.
She deserves so much more than a life in a small cage in a crowded pound — Cherry deserves a loving, calm home where she can feel safe and blossom at her own pace.
